How do I use the sign up lists to drive group membership in Blackboard, for adaptive release etc.,?

Once the groups are full, or the sign period has ended then you can transfer the membership of the sign up list to a specific Blackboard group. This will allow you to use other group functions, in particular adaptive release.

To do this, simply access the sign up list in Blackboard then click on the Group Tool button. You can then select the group you want to add the people into from the drop down menu. If you want to add a new group then simply click on the Create a new group button. After you’ve created the group you’ll be returned to this page. You need to decide what you’d like to do with the exiting students in the group, i.e., leave them and just add new people, or remove them before populating with the sign up membership.
